Self protection Honor

It is important to keep our body in shape and exercise regularly.  We will introduce the Korean Martial Art Tae Kwon Do.  This honor will introduce the basic theory of self-defense and self-control.

On Feb 2, 2019, Loma LInda Korean Tigers were introduced to self-protection honor assisted by JJ Tae Kwon Do in Redlands (1528 Barton Road - State Brother Center).  Our pathfinders loved to see their bad habit written down on wooden boards and broken with their bare hands, symbolizing breaking their bad habits.

Thank you to all that participated in teaching, learning, and assisting.

Badminton Honor

Badminton honor was fun and our pathfinders learned the basics and applied their new found knowledge to practical application.  Thank you to all those helped and assisted in this honor.

Angel Tree

Angel tree is a way to giveback to the community by providing kids with parents who cannot celebrate Christmas due to their circumstances. This year, we were part of the Angel Tree for 50 families in the San Bernardino area.

After the Angel Tree, our tigers celebrated early Christmas party and white elephant party.

Thanksgiving Can Collecting

This year, we collected cans for those families that are in need.  We met wonderful God's children and shared prayers and stories.

See you all next year.

Faith Powell Shoe Drive

On September 8, 2018 in the 106 degree heat, with the help of parents who were willing to drive our Tigers, headed out to Faith Powell's place.  As in the past, we were welcomed by the Powell family.  We were put to work immediately.   Despite the heat, the pathfinders started to process the shoes and processed over 1,600 pair of shoes in about one hour.  Thank you Powell family for letting us join in on your mission.  See you next year.
